Megan Byrd
Editor-in-Chief/Writer
Megan Byrd is a Chicago based professional photographer by day and a comic book blogger by nights and weekends at comicbookcandy.com. As a former comic shop employee, Megan writes about the industry with an insider perspective but having been a fan far longer than a purveyor of floppies, she is not nearly as bitter as those brave souls still standing behind the counter. Megan also moderates the monthly Ladies’ Night at Graham Crackers Comics in downtown Chicago.
Anissa Espinosa
Editor/Artist
Anissa Espinosa owes her refined tastes and nerdiness to her older brother who raised her on a steady diet of The Simpsons, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The X-files, Star Trek, violent but philosophical anime, and marathons of dubbed Jackie Chan movies. It wasn't until she discovered his collection of comic books that she really fell in love with the medium and sought to better the narratives in her own artwork. Since then, she has dabbled in comics, illustration and animation. You can find her doodles and such on her blog at redribbonrobot.tumblr.com.
Wendy Freeman
Editor/Writer
Wendi Freeman spends her days as a mercenary drummer for hire. When she's not keeping time she can be found watching Italian genre films, eating pie or harassing comic creators on her podcast. You can check out her various audio projects at doublepgspread.tumblr.com.
Caitlin Rosberg
Editor/Writer
By day, Caitlin Rosberg works hard to never throw computers out windows when they don't do what they need to. By night, she's a writing, tea drinking, baking machine with all the requisite robotic enhancements. She reviews comics for the A.V. Club and you can see her love of supporting cast comic book characters (especially named Jim) and too many pictures of her dog on Twitter.
